Every night, you'll help create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support. Your role will include:

  • Carrying out regular "keeping safe checks" to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.
  • Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.
  • Recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems - from support plans to health and safety logs - so we can provide the best care possible.
  • Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.
  • Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
  • Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.

About the role

Join our dedicated team at our home in Westonzoyland, where you will be a valued member of our team, supporting 7 people with profound physical disabilities and multiple learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will support people in making the most of their day. Your responsibilities will include personal care, arranging outings to various different events, administering medication, assisting with finances, and ensuring the relationships between the people we support and their friends and families are kept strong. Each day brings new experiences and rewards in this fulfilling role.

About you

Drivers essential due to the rural location, unless you are able to walk (no public transport links).
