As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll take ownership of the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of the organisation's core infrastructure. You'll work across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring platforms are secure, highly available, and fit for future growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an experienced infrastructure engineer who enjoys shaping platforms, solving complex problems, and building resilient systems at scale. You'll be trusted to make technical decisions, influence best practice, and help move the infrastructure estate forward through automation and modern engineering approaches.

  • Designing, configuring, and deploying robust infrastructure solutions across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Ensuring infrastructure platforms are secure, scalable, highly available, and optimised for performance and cost.
  • Taking ownership of operational excellence, including monitoring, maintenance, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Driving resilience and reliability through proactive capacity management, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability design.
  • Championing automation and Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and improve delivery speed.
  • Strong expertise in networking, firewalls, security, and platform reliability within complex environments.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for reducing manual processes.
  • A strong understanding of building and operating highly available, resilient, and scalable systems.

This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7). To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
