A day in the life
- Deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned lessons (plans provided or adapted with flair)
- Support students across KS3-KS4, and KS5 where appropriate
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, using fair, consistent strategies
- Monitor student wellbeing and immediately report any safeguarding concerns
- Complete key admin such as registers and handover notes - so the class teacher can return smoothly
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment for every student
What you'll bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - including Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Strong subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of the Secondary Curriculum
- Confident, professional classroom management skills
- A sound understanding of safeguarding procedures and the responsibility to act decisively
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - or willingness to apply
