As HR Specialist it\’s your job to work alongside your fellow HR Specialists and our people leaders across our
Wombourne
Manufacturing Plant to make McCain a great place to work. This covers many elements of HR including Employee Relations, Recruitment, and day-today HR Employee Lifecycle processes and compliance.
Our ideal candidate will already be living and breathing a HR generalist role so you\’ll already have a good idea of what this role will entail. Reporting into the Director, HR Manufacturing for the UK, you will also…
Support our leaders and employees with employee and labour relations issues (which may include conducting investigations, managing appeals, addressing misconduct, issuing discipline, suspension and/or termination)
Execute local recruitment initiatives. Manage job requisitions on our recruitment portal (Success Factors), run job events and fairs, proactively source candidates, and manage the local talent pools – with an ongoing focus on early talent
Manage employee movement and contract management. Including the updating of personal information
Share insights and trends with key stakeholders to drive more effective and efficient HR service delivery
Managing HR compliance e.g. right to work applications, GDPR storage, auditing requirements
Ensure the employee experience is at the centre of everything you do… identify, and implement Continuous Improvement activities, to enhance our HR Processes.
We are a team of connectedness – which means you will create impactful relationships between HR Specialists and our Global Employee Experience Centre to provide a world class service to our employees. And because we have a one team approach you will also have the opportunity to \’chip in\’ and partner with other departments outside of your normal business areas.

You\’ll be a HR generalist ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG would be advantageous!) You will also have…
A professional HR qualification
Experience of working within a FMCG Manufacturing plant
Solid ER experience, with previous knowledge of managing conduct, absence etc..
Strong stakeholder management
Experience of working at pace in a high pressured, and demanding environment
Strong recruitment experience. Has experience of talent attraction as well as experience of recruiting at pace and volume
Good administrational skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
The ability to work well on your own, and self-motivated. A self-start and able to work independently
