Role Description
As an RF Mission Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful development, validation, and verification of the end-to-end space and ground system solution. Leading a Team of Technical Experts and System Engineers, the RF Mission Lead will work closely with a range of customers to ensure that the end solution meets the customer need. The RF Mission Lead will be responsible for the successful technical delivery of the solution throughout the entire life cycle including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, LRR and post launch and commissioning activities.
Essential Requirements
- Technical Leadership of space mission and spacecraft product development
- Will need to take ownership of designs and missions and will need to delegate to others as required
- Proven experience in RF systems engineering and satellite mission leadership
- Strong understanding of novel RF solutions and their application
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex engineering concepts
- RF communication systems design, test and validation
- Stakeholder / customer management
- Eligible for high level security clearance
