We are currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives / FLT Operators to join a busy and well-established logistics operation. We have a variety of opportunities available across different shift patterns, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking for either a Monday–Friday role, a rotating shift pattern or a night shift.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative / FLT Operator, you will play an important role in the day-to-day movement, storage and preparation of goods within a busy warehouse environment. Duties may include:

  • Operating forklift trucks and/or Flexi trucks safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving and positioning stock around the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading pallets and other materials
  • Picking, checking and preparing orders
  • Stock movement and warehouse replenishment
  • Completing relevant warehouse paperwork and/or system transactions
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following site health & safety procedures at all times
  • Working as part of a wider warehouse and logistics team
  • Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required

Shift Patterns

A variety of shift patterns are available, which may include:

  • 4-on / 4-off rotating shift patterns
  • Monday–Friday permanent shifts
  • Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
  • Night shifts, approximately 10:00pm–6:00am

Shift patterns and specific working hours can be based on personal preference and availability.

About You

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution, logistics or manufacturing environment, particularly those who are comfortable working in a fast-paced operation. Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Experience operating FLT and/or Flexi trucks
  • A valid, recognised FLT/Flexi licence or relevant recent operating experience
  • Good awareness of warehouse health & safety procedures
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A reliable and flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work independently when required
  • A good attitude towards attendance, punctuality and workplace safety

Experience with goods-in, goods-out, loading/unloading, picking, stock movement or warehouse systems would also be advantageous.
