A growing managed cyber security services provider delivering 24/7 threat detection, incident response, and security consultancy to organisations across the UK. With a strong technical delivery capability at our core, we are now looking to expand our commercial function with the addition of a Sales Manager who can drive new business growth while building long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who understands the cyber security landscape and can translate complex technical services into clear business value for clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving new business acquisition across mid-market and enterprise organisations
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Positioning a range of services across managed SOC services and penetration testing
- Engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including CIOs, IT leaders, and security teams
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline through outbound activity, networking, and partnerships
- Working closely with internal technical teams to shape solutions aligned to client needs
- Representing the business at industry events, client meetings, and presentations
- Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a B2B sales role with responsibility for revenue generation
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and/or cyber security concepts
- Ability to communicate technical solutions in a clear, business-focused way
- Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles
- A proactive, self-starting approach to pipeline generation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Nice to Have (Not Essential):
- Experience selling managed security services, SOC, or MDR
- Existing network within cyber security or IT decision-makers
- Familiarity with security technologies (SIEM, endpoint, cloud security)
- Understanding of current threat landscape and cyber trends
