Pardgroup is a multinational field marketing & retail services agency, with offices in Italy, the UK, Dubai, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain and the USA. We are looking for a candidate to join our London office.
Position Overview: As a Procurement Manager at Pardgroup - London, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for our projects in the shop-fitting, millwork, construction, and visual merchandising sectors. You will collaborate with our project manager teams to optimize our supply chain, manage vendor relationships, look after tender and bill of quantities and drive savings while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors; Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating favorable rates and terms and agreements; Continuously assess vendor performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Collaborate with project managers and department heads to determine procurement needs; Source materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements and budget constraints; Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost savings without compromising quality.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement budgets for multiple projects simultaneously; Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement cost-effective procurement processes; Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards for procured materials and services; Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that products meet or exceed specifications; Address any quality issues or deviations promptly and effectively.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procurement policies; Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (master's degree preferred);
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, sourcing strategies, and Supply Chain Management;
- Proficiency in Procurement software;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams;
- Proficiency both in English and Italian.
