Your mission is to ensure that freedom feels effortless. Privacy and sovereignty should not be a burden, but a joy. You will design experiences that make powerful tools ; home servers, Private and Local AI, encrypted messaging, local data management ; feel intuitive to the everyday user.
You will transform the philosophy of SP into visual language: menus, icons, flows, and dashboards that communicate clarity and power. You will craft a design system that makes the OS feel unified across all platforms, while keeping it distinctly Parcks — bold, sleek, and details oriented.

Keyresponsibilities
- Design a cohesive, elegant UI for SP across all platforms.
- Create user experiences that make complex privacy and hosting tools simple to use.
- Define and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with kernel, networking, and AI teams to visualise complex features.
- Conduct user research and testing to refine flows for real-world needs.
- Design a cohesive and intuitive interface for SP OS for the Capsule, the Mod and other platforms
- Translate complex privacy and security features into clear, user-friendly workflows.
- Create visual systems that balance elegance, performance, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Conduct user testing and feedback loops to refine the experience.
- Strong background in UI/UX design for complex systems or applications.
- A creative mind, an outside the box thinker and absolutely details oriented
- A vocation for depth, accuracy and who has a strong suit for minimalist, soft, simple and clean interfaces.
- A great instinct and sense of aesthetics
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work closely with engineers to implement designs faithfully.
- Experience designing for operating systems and operating systems design principles, dashboards, or developer tools.
- Background in privacy, ethical tech, or activist design.
- Strong visual identity work — ability to balance sleek design with strong branding.
- Contributions to design systems or projects.
