We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists and ensure patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment advice to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support patients throughout their visit, offering reassurance and clear communication in English.
- Uphold high standards of infection control, health & safety protocols, and organisational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in dental assistance.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate digital records and appointment management systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
- A recognised qualification in dental nursing.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.
