We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide essential support to dentists and ensure patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments.
  • Provide pre- and post-treatment advice to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Sterilise and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Support patients throughout their visit, offering reassurance and clear communication in English.
  • Uphold high standards of infection control, health & safety protocols, and organisational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or training in dental assistance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Good IT literacy for maintaining accurate digital records and appointment management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail.
  • A recognised qualification in dental nursing.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
