Collection and Delivery Manager - Night Shift. Job reference: 335383. Salary: £40,457 per annum plus night shift allowance, potential 15% bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Full time, 41 hours per week. Permanent. London North West Local Depot, Acton, London, W3 0TH.
About The Role
As a line manager to a team of 25+ warehouse staff, you will drive efficiency through resource and contingency planning, delivering quality of service and maximising productivity. Working to tight timescales you will push the depot to achieve high customer service satisfaction, while resolving customer enquiries and complaints swiftly. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the performance of your unit, maintaining service quality and overall safety, while working with the local sales team to increase revenue opportunities and highlight network conformance issues. Attendance - night shift, approx 22:00 - 06:12, Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
About You
It takes more than organisational skills to be a manager. We’re looking for individuals with a passion for people and the following skills and experiences:
- From an express parcels background with some experience of working in a unionised environment
- Managing and supporting a large team to maximise performance, service and achieving KPI
- Drive high customer satisfaction by ensuring service quality and managing swift resolutions
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all night operations, maintaining a safe working environment
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members to work to high standards
- Experience of introducing improvements and successfully guiding people through significant periods of change
- Ability to build effective working relationships with your team, unions and key stakeholders
- Experience of managing resources and budgets
