Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable Specialist role based in Kelvedon, Essex. The Accounts Payable Specialist will process supplier invoices, verify supporting documentation, to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors. Daily responsibilities include reconciling statements and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies. The role also involves maintaining records, collaborating with finance and operations teams, and contributing to process improvements in accounts payable workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting foundation with skills in Accounting.
- Solid Analytical Skills applied to finance and accounts payable tasks.
- General knowledge of Finance and financial controls relevant to payables.
- Proficiency with office tools including Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Prior experience in an accounts payable or finance support role; formal accounting qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
