Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 – Plus 25k OTE

This position will be representing Parasol, our umbrella payment solution. Parasol is one of the UK’s leading umbrella employment providers, supporting thousands of contractors and freelancers across a wide range of industries. Acting as the contractor’s employer, Parasol handles all payroll, tax, and compliance requirements—ensuring smooth, compliant payments and access to full employment rights and benefits.
Role Profile
- You will be accountable for implementing a general strategy across a portfolio of key accounts in a defined geographical area.
- Generate profitable, long-term business through your portfolio of accounts with the main focus to increase Umbrella joiners and revenue.
- Grow the account portfolio revenue at Net Revenue level i.e., after rebates, referral fees and other commercials.
- Promote and sell our Non-Core service offerings including CIS, Parasol 360, Recruitment Finance and other partnerships.
- Drive sales activity within the pre-defined list of allocated accounts.
- Work with a Client Relationship Manager (buddy up system) and our internal teams to service and grow your agencies/clients, operating from consultant to senior level.
- Demonstrate, through periodic survey results, your ability to provide market leading support.
- Conduct field-based activities to sustain and grow accounts, including working outside of office hours, when required, to organise and attend networking events.
- Ensure Company values are met and embedded into everything that you do; ‘Make It Happen’, ‘Play for the Team’ and ‘Be Yourself’.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an account management and business development role, ideally field based.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, to ensure that all duties are executed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute account plans.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with our agency partners.
- Experience of presenting at different levels (including senior) to customers.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
