Field based Regional Account Manager at Caroola, we bring together top brands in tax, umbrella, and accountancy services built for small businesses and the UK’s growing freelance and contractor community. This position will be representing Parasol, our umbrella payment solution. Parasol is one of the UK’s leading umbrella employment providers, supporting thousands of contractors and freelancers across a wide range of industries. Acting as the contractor's employer, Parasol handles all payroll, tax, and compliance requirements ensuring smooth, compliant payments and access to full employment rights and benefits.
Role Profile: You will be accountable for implementing a general strategy across a portfolio of key accounts in a defined geographical area. Generate profitable, long-term business through your portfolio of accounts with the main focus to increase Umbrella joiners and revenue. Grow the account portfolio revenue at Net Revenue level i.e. after rebates, referral fees and other commercials. Promote and sell our Non-Core service offerings including CIS, Parasol 360, Recruitment Finance and other partnerships. Drive sales activity within the pre-defined list of allocated accounts. Work with a Client Relationship Manager (buddy up system) and our internal teams to service and grow your agencies/clients, operating from consultant to senior level. Demonstrate, through periodic survey results, your ability to provide market leading support. Conduct field-based activities to sustain and grow accounts, including working outside of office hours, when required, to organise and attend networking events. The KPIs for this role will be set against activity levels including face-to-face meetings, workshops, video calls, telephone and email activity. Skills And Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an account management and business development role, ideally field based.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, to ensure that all duties are executed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute account plans.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate with our agency partners.
- Experience of presenting at different levels (including senior) to customers.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude.
