We are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printer to join the team at our Boston site.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career and join a progressive business.
Shift Patterns
Double Days (Week 1: Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00 & Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00-00:00)
Triples (Week 1: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:00 & Friday 06:00-13:00.
Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00 & Friday 13:00-20:00.
Week 3: Sunday 23:00-06:00 & Monday-Thursday 22:00-06:00)
Key Areas of Responsibility
- The main purpose of this role is to produce high quality products to customer specification
- Responsible for producing quality finished products within reasonable timescales
- Reading and understanding job bag
- Ensure the outer labels have correct information and detail and should be in numerical order
- Keeping high standard of presentation of finished goods to finishing department
- Minimise Downtime
- Operate at or below make ready and running waste targets
- To maintain quality level through a production run ensuring consistency is equal to original QC
- Accurate input of all information onto Prism as per training given
- Keeping within accepted levels of spoilage for areas within your control
- Any other duties required to meet the prevailing needs of the business
- Ensure all metrics are populated in working cell
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of flexographic printing process
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Prism
- Good organisational and self-motivational skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience of Printer- Desirable
- Understanding of Standard Operating Procedure – Desirable
