Reporting into the VP, Sponsorship your role is to lead the generation of UK linear sponsorship and multiplatform partnership advertising revenue from a specific set of media agencies. The Paramount brands operating in the UK are 5, Paramount+, Pluto, MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon. You will sit within the UK Sponsorship team, supported by an Account Director and Account Manager and the wider sales team.
What will you be doing?
- Develop new opportunities that will maximise revenue via product placement, AFP, licensing and the utilisation of all Paramount's media assets working alongside the VP of sponsorship and the wider commercial team.
- Lead the generation of linear sponsorship and multi-platform partnership revenue through promoting the benefits of partnerships with our brands to agencies.
- Build and hold strong relationships with agency partnership teams and planners.
- Proactively identify partnership opportunities across your agencies and produce and deliver sales strategies to ensure the target for your group of agencies is met.
- Collaborate with the wider Paramount Advertising International team, including Creative Resources to produce best in class pitches.
- A relentless focus on maintaining high quality output and the ambition to pursue and deliver award-winning work.
- Key stakeholder in the deal to air process, ensuring that the Client Services team are supported to deliver the partnership as planned.
- To be a great people manager, ensuring direct reports are motivated and have the capability to deliver your sales strategy.
- Support the VP Commercial Sponsorship with accurate revenue forecasting for the agencies you represent.
- Actively reinforce a positive culture within the team, embracing Paramount values.
What are we looking for?
- Revenue Generation Experience in creating new revenue streams through understanding the revenue potential and regulations surrounding product placement, AFPs, licensing and other non-traditional partnerships.
- The ability to interpret partnership briefs and through the sourcing of relevant insight, produce creative pitches that will drive revenue.
- Proven ability to build strong mutually beneficial relationships with senior agency staff.
- The ability to create and deliver a successful sales strategy driving revenue through sponsorship and cross-platform partnerships.
- Knowledge of the role and the costs associated with each media platform within a cross-platform partnership.
- Ofcom Sponsorship regulations knowledge.
- A management style that produces the best from your direct report, supporting their personal growth and motivating them to succeed.
- Proven ability and experience of leading, running and motivating a team, setting policy and achieving targets.
- Ensuring the Account Director is actively managing the performance and development of their Account Manager.
