Managing the planning schedule for a nominated channel or channels, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Inputting a forward planning schedule into Whatβs On in collaboration with the Channel Director. Acting as a central contact for planning queries. Informing relevant personnel of schedule changes within issued weeks. Maintaining knowledge of Paramount and C5 schedules and competitors. Overseeing all press day responsibilities for nominated channels. Managing Billings & Pre-Press emails. Updating month-end data for Finance and quarterly schedule insertion into WON for Channel Directors. Ensuring programme rights are properly adhered to. Representing Planning at meetings and projects when required. Creating and maintaining Standby Lists for nominated channels. Coordinating between Programming, Sales, & Presentation on schedule matters. Testing and developing systems for programme planning. Serving as Out of Hours contact for the Channel 5 portfolio. Deputising for the Channel Manager/Director and supporting planning functions. Reviewing future programmes and providing insights to key stakeholders. Preparing schedules for Sales each month. Maintaining series links across channels. Performing daily & weekly EPG maintenance. Responding to billing queries. Ensuring channel content compliance with Watershed rules and internal policies. Supporting the maintenance of the Milkshake! schedule and programme version changes. Managing monthly Teleshopping rotations.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in programme planning preferred but not essential.
