Our client is seeking an experienced assistant manager for its luxury pub/café in the Kingsbridge area. The individual will ideally have experience in a managerial role in a pub/café/restaurant setting.

The Assistant Pub Manager’s main duties are to oversee the day-to-day front of house operations of the public house, taking the lead and deputising for the Pub Manager in their absence. You will thrive working within a fast-paced F & B environment and be driven and motivated to go above and beyond for all customers and guests.

Assistant Pub Manager responsibilities include:

  • Assist the pub manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Lead and motivate a fantastic team, providing training and support to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Managing stock control, ordering and ensuring all products are presented to the highest standard.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, creating a memorable experience for guests.
  • Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate till operation.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, creative, forward-thinking and have a genuine passion for hospitality and F & B. The Assistant Pub Manager must have previous experience in a similar role, preferably at a hotel/restaurant setting, and be focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
