Our world is transforming, and PTC is leading the way.

Our software brings the physical and digital worlds together, enabling companies to improve operations, create better products, and empower people in all aspects of their business.

Our people make all the difference in our success.

Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.

Team: Pipeline Squad.

Product: Jetstream – PTC's Atlas Saa S collaboration platform.

About the team: The Pipeline squad owns the infrastructure, build, release, and security foundations that every other Jetstream squad builds on top of.

Jetstream is a Nest JS + Angular monorepo deployed into Azure Kubernetes via Helm, shipped through Git Lab CI/CD, and running on the wider PTC Atlas platform.

We're the squad that makes shipping fast, safe, and boring so product squads can focus on features.

  • What you’ll do
  • Own the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Evolve our Git Lab pipeline (test → build → security → deploy) across Atlas dev, staging, and prod.
  • Cut build times, tame flaky jobs, and keep the path from merge to production short and trustworthy.
  • Raise the developer experience bar.

Reduce local‑setup friction across the monorepo (npm workspaces, Docker Compose stacks, kind clusters, Atlas IAM/Org fakes).

If a workflow makes an engineer wait or guess, you fix it.

  • Manage infrastructure as code. Extend Terraform‑managed infra (Azure, networking, secrets) via reviewed MRs and CI – no hand‑run terraform/az.
  • Own the Helm chart and per‑environment values.
  • Embed security into the pipeline. Integrate and streamline automated security scanning tools.
  • Build tooling and paved paths. Write the scripts, generators, templates, and docs that turn one‑off tribal knowledge into self‑serve, reliable defaults.
  • What we’re looking for
  • Strong CI/CD experience with a modern platform (Git Lab CI preferred; Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, etc. transferable).
  • Solid Kubernetes and Helm in production, plus containerization with Docker.
  • Infrastructure as code with Terraform, ideally on Azure (AKS, ACR, Entra Workload Identity, Service Bus).
  • Comfort in a Type Script/Node monorepo — you can read and improve build/test setups even if you don't ship product features daily.
  • A Dev Ex mindset: you measure toil, empathize with the engineers you serve, and treat internal tooling as a real product.
  • Security‑conscious by default: least privilege, secrets hygiene, supply‑chain awareness.
  • Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Nice to have: Experience creating agentic development workflows or writing and maintaining AI skills; npm workspaces / shared‑package build systems; Experience supporting Saa S platforms with strict data‑privacy requirements (enterprise/multinational customers).
  • How we work

We favor paved paths and sensible defaults over teams maintaining highly custom setups.

Simplicity—the art of maximising the amount of work not done—is essential.

Developers work end‑to‑end to solve customer problems, and our tooling encourages end‑to‑end workflows over platform components.
