The Clinical Supervisor will have the expertise to assess, implement and evaluate a wide range of clinical care interventions to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care.**Why you’ll love working here:*** Be a part of a great supportive team of fellow nurses and supervisors* Attractive scheduling* Opportunity to develop long term therapeutic relationships with patients.* Opportunity to practice and develop complex clinical skills* Best in class training and development programs, including a comprehensive clinical orientation and hands-on skills labs* Celebration and Recognition programs* Comprehensive health and dental benefit plans* Company paid mobile devices* Mileage compensation* Opportunities for career advancement* Employee Assistance Program**What you’ll do:*** Supervise and support CCA’s and CAIT’s to ensure practices comply with all legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.* Respond to and advise/resolve concerns from community staff, patients/families, and other team members.* Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, face to face meetings and one-on-ones.* Initiate patient safety incident investigations and documents to ensure timelines and action plans are met.* Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to specific funder reporting guidelines.* Engage patients in problem solving using a collaborative approach, offering health teaching, building rapport and trust to identify patient health care needs, strengths, capacities, and goals.* Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems.* Maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide safe, efficient, effective service in all areas of practice by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting that affect scope of practice.**What you bring:*** Registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a practicing nurse* Comprehensive patient health assessment skills are required* Possess an understanding of the principles of community nursing practice* Proven experience leading and managing a team* Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines is required* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills* Commitment to professional development in clinical practice that is relevant to home health care* Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation* Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)## **Time Type:**Full timeJoin us as we continue our 40-year tradition to help people live better and provide the most compassionate care possible!
