We are looking for an Inspector with relevant experience to inspect our product to the relevant quality standards required by Firth Vickers and our customers.
Principle Accountabilities:
- To work to all relevant quality parameters.
- Dimension inspection to approved drawing & produce report documentation.
- To check products for visual defects.
- To apply all N.D.T. requirements.
- Operate / load / unload.
- Liaise with other inter-departmental personnel to ensure smooth product flow.
- To follow all the work’s procedures, including SOPs.
- To keep all documentation up to date.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.
- General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Qualifications in dye penetrant testing PCN level 2 preferred - Experience in DPI considered.
- Previous experience in inspecting castings, including use of measuring equipment.
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Working to quality procedures and understanding of quality issues.
- A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues.
- Manual handling experience.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self‑motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team.
