Principle Function
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and Mechanical compliance. This will include the carrying out of installation and maintaining of systems, along with ensuring that breakdowns and planned activities are managed effectively.
Responsibilities and duties include
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloys safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task.
- Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained.
- Responding to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner.
- Carry out electrical installation work as required.
- Using appropriate data and systems to manage the site’s electrical & control systems.
- Liaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractors.
- Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Recognised apprenticeship within a Mechancial or Electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of plant control and the use of PLC and control systems is preferred.
- Ability to fault find mechanical.
- Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
