Maintenance Engineer (2 Shift) in Sheffield

Paralloy is a leading International Manufacturer of precision engineered components and systems for tolerance‑critical applications, supplying major petrochemical markets worldwide.

Principle Function

We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring electrical and mechanical compliance. The role includes the installation and maintenance of systems, managing both planned and reactive activities, and responding to breakdowns and faults.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in line with Paralloy’s safety standards, ensuring a full risk assessment is completed before any task.
• Maintain applicable compliance standards.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns & faults, managing planned and reactive work in a timely manner.
• Carry out electrical installation work as required.
• Use appropriate data and systems to manage the site’s electrical & control systems.
• Liaise with and assist in the management of third‑party contractors.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of plant control and PLC/control systems is preferred.
• Ability to fault‑find mechanical issues.
• Enthusiastic and computer‑literate, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
