About The Role
Due to growing demand we are looking for a number of Foundry Operatives to work on a new 3-shift pattern and responsible to manufacture centrifugally cast products.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Pour molten metal into spinning dies.
- Monitor temperatures of moulds / molten steel as directed by chargehand.
- Complete manufacture of castings & removal from a die using hand tools, manual handling techniques.
- Prepare refractory materials for use in manufacturing.
- Set up moulds, cups and ladles as directed by charge hand to begin tube manufacture.
- Brush out and spray up production moulds.
- Grinding of moulds / tubes as directed.
- Stamping tubes to maintain traceability.
- Take test samples as directed by charge hand.
- Lift & sling moulds, tubes, and containers with use of cranes.
- General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.
- Work safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Skills / Experience:
- Previous manufacturing and factory experience
- The ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- An adaptable and flexible attitude to work
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Pendant Crane, Lifting & Slinging experience would be advantageous
- Foundry experience would be advantageous
