As an Inspector you will be responsible for the final inspection and releasing of parts from the machine shop. We are looking for an individual, with experience in an engineering discipline to inspect weld preps and machined components dimensionally, visually and to carry out non-destructive testing (dye penetrant).

As an Inspector you will be responsible for the final inspection and releasing of parts from the machine shop. We are looking for an individual, with experience in an engineering discipline to inspect weld preps and machined components dimensionally, visually and to carry out non-destructive testing (dye penetrant).
Duites will include but not limited to;
- Quality control.
- Dye penetrant inspection.
- Dimensional inspection.
- Inspect tube surface finishes using tally surf equipment using a range of measuring equipment.
- Recording data working to drawings/tolerances as per customer specification and maintenance of quality records.
- Liaise with outside inspectors.
- Raising non-conformance issues when noticed.
- Ensuring equipment is calibrated and highlights any anomalies with equipment.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’ s safety standards and procedures.
- Operation of overhead crane
- General housekeeping.
Ideally you will have experience carrying out NDE testing using Dye penetrant and hold own PCN or have held ASNT qualifications in the past. A strong understanding of engineering drawings
A eye for details and a strong understanding for quality.
