About The Role
Principle Accountabilities
- Acknowledge production schedule and casting plan.
- Acknowledge charge requisitions issued by Specification Laboratory.
- Lift and sling materials using Remote/Pendant crane.
- Locate and transport materials using FLT.
- Follow (by weight) instructions from charge requisition.
- Weigh off materials using floor and desk top scales.
- Maintaining good workplace organisation (5s).
- SPC/PPM checks.
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Skills/experience
- Heavy Engineering experience.
- Forklift truck licence (A must).
- Overhead crane experience.
- Manual handling experience.
- Slinging experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work on own initiative, or as part of a team.
