Company Description

Parallel Parliament is transforming the political monitoring industry through a technology platform that makes live, comprehensive political intelligence accessible to businesses and organizations of all sizes. As a fast-growing startup, this is an opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping both the company and the market it operates in.

Role Description

Parallel Parliament is hiring its first Sales & Marketing Lead to build the company’s commercial function from the ground up. This is a hands-on, founding role suited to someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to design, test, and scale sales and marketing activity rather than inherit an existing system. You will own the full sales cycle, develop outbound and inbound campaigns, and establish the foundations for a future sales and marketing team. The role is fully remote, with occasional travel required for conferences and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from inbound interest through to close
  • Design and execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline and CRM processes
  • Represent Parallel Parliament at conferences and industry events
  • Lay the foundations for a scalable commercial team as the company grows

About You

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or commercial roles (startup experience a plus)
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment
  • Strong interest in politics, public affairs, lobbying, or political monitoring
  • Confident communicator with relationship-driven sales instincts
  • Motivated by ownership, ambiguity, and building something from scratch

Remuneration £40–60k base (DOE) + uncapped commission. Meaningful equity available for the right candidate as the role develops.
