Paragraf Huntingdon, England, United Kingdom
Product Manager- Molecular Sensing
Responsibilities
- Customer Problems First We begin with the end-user β not the feature list β and work backwards to solve real, valuable problems in harsh and high-stakes environments.
- Product Thinking at Every Level From material innovation to sensor packaging to data output β we expect Product Managers to own the full product stack.
- Cross-Functional, Empowered Teams You\\\βll be a co-leader with engineering and science, not a requirements-writer. Real product leadership is expected and supported.
- Outcomes Over Output Success is when we deliver sensors that outperform and outlast β not just when we ship.
- Shape the Future of Molecular Sensing At Paragraf, we are pioneering the application of graphene electronics to build the next generation of ultra-sensitive, scalable, and durable molecular sensors. Our patented, transfer-free graphene integration process enables the development of high-performance field-effect transistor (FET)-based sensing technologies.
- We\\\βre looking for a Product Manager to lead the vision, development, and commercialization of graphene-based molecular sensing. Initial focus will include ion, pH and gas sensing solutions. Through partners we will be advancing the fields of medical diagnostics, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and healthcare.
- Bridge Science and Market You will identify and prioritize target markets where graphene delivers key USPs such as unmatched sensitivity, speed, or miniaturization. Market opportunities where legacy ion-sensitive FET (ISFET) and electrochemical sensors fall short β and where graphene molecular sensors can deliver superior performance, robustness, and longevity.
- Translate cutting-edge scientific discoveries into clear product requirements that meet real-world regulatory, clinical, and operational needs.
- Drive validation and proof-of-concept efforts with partners in industrial and life sciences domains.
- Drive End-to-End Product Execution Own the roadmap from early prototyping through environmental testing, integration, and customer pilots.
- Coordinate cross-functional development efforts and ensure successful handoff to scale-up manufacturing, and commercial deployment.
- Lead Customer Discovery & Engage with a Technical Lens Engage early and often with researchers, industrial scientists, OEMs, and systems integrators to understand user needs and ensure product-market fit.
- Conduct deep discovery with end-users in manufacturing, chemical processing, agriculture, and utilities to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet sensing needs.
- Build and maintain customer partnerships for pilot deployments, feedback loops, and long-term success.
- Ensure feedback loops inform future iterations and platform evolution.
- Translate Technology into Real-World Products Work closely with applied materials scientists, production engineers, and electronics experts to develop scalable sensing platforms optimized for industrial use.
- Define product requirements based on industrial standards (e.g., IP ratings, temperature range, chemical resistance) and customer use cases.
