About Paragon: Paragon is The Digital Asset Communications Agency. We work with international clients in the emerging tech space. Our global team is expanding, and we are looking for a Web3 PR Account Manager to join us.
Role Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Web3 PR Manager at Paragon. The PR Manager will be responsible for creating press releases, managing media relations, distributing to contacts (existing and new), and strategic communications. This role is primarily a remote job, but we have an office in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring media coverage and reporting results to the wider team and clients
- Researching and drafting pitches for features, interviews, op-eds, press releases
- Drafting agendas & actions for client calls, as well as taking meeting notes
- Monitoring and flagging relevant news stories to the team
- Arranging and managing media interviews for clients
- Assisting in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns and clients, crafting and executing media strategies
- Researching client events and industry conferences
- Researching and building media lists on an ongoing basis
- Pitching press releases, op-eds and feature stories
Requirements:
- +1 or 2 years of experience in existing PR role
- Existing network of web3 journalist connections is a benefit
- We don’t require any educational background and welcome all the web3 natives
- Strong attention to detail: be excellent at spelling, grammar and proof-reading
- Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling will be beneficial
- Interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media are essential
- Experience with a range of communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, X and Discord)
