What You’ll Be Doing (and why it matters!)
Every day in this role is different — and every day you’ll be playing a vital part in keeping roads, roadworkers, and the public safe. Your key responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain temporary traffic systems, including traffic lights, diversions, closures, and pedestrian routes — ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
- Work independently or with a team, depending on the job. This is a role for self‑starters who enjoy variety and responsibility.
- Manually operate traffic lights and guide pedestrians, putting you at the heart of public safety.
- Lead by example in safety, professionalism, and quality — helping maintain the reputation we’re proud of.

What We’re Looking For

Ideal skills & attributes:
- Traffic management experience M1 and M2. M5 would also be great
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities
- Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Confident and clear communicator
- Full UK driving licence required with 6 or less points
