Due to recent expansion a family run food manufacturing business are seeking to expand their engineering function by recruiting an Engineering Supervisor/Engineering Team Manager
Responsiblity for 6-10 Engineers Reporting into the Engineering Manager Working on a Days Based Panama Shift Pattern
To provide first class mechanical and electrical engineering supervision to contribute to the smooth operation of the organisations production objectives and targets.

Front line leadership will be provided to offer on the job support and coaching to the Engineering team, striving for best-in-class team performance.

Responsibilities: To ensure all food safety legislation and guidelines as well as company policies are adhered to.

To escalate any issues to the Engineering Manager in a timely manner.

Maintain effective communication with the wider site Assisting with contracting / maintenance and projects to ensure objectives are achieved.

To ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Drive department CMMS (Shire) adherence/utilisation.

Continuous reviewing of CMMS data with steps taken to correct or identify corrective measures to Eng Manager and/or Reliability Engineer.

To diagnose and fix all electrical and mechanical issues on machinery with minimum disruption to production.

Ensure all site machinery, buildings and utilities are maintained.

Essentials: Flexibility in hours and shifts Able to coach and develop a team Factory based maintenance skills Mechanical & electrical qualification Good communication skills Driven and motivated Previous experience in a production environment Positive attitude to work colleagues Computer literate with good Microsoft package abilities

Experience working in the food industry Supervisory position experience Skills in prioritising work loads CMMS competency IOSH / NEBOSH H&S qualifications
