The Role
Each shift brings something new, but your impact is constant. You’ll be:
- Providing safe, trauma-informed care
- Creating structure, routine, and a calm environment
- Supporting education, independence, and life skills
- Preparing meals and promoting healthy daily habits
- Ensuring young people feel heard, respected, and valued
- Attending appointments and community activities
- Transporting young people using your own vehicle when required
- Helping them transition positively into their next placement or future pathway

Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people (voluntary or paid)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Emotional resilience, empathy, and patience
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)
- A Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
