The Role

Each shift brings something new, but your impact is constant. You’ll be:

  • Providing safe, trauma-informed care
  • Creating structure, routine, and a calm environment
  • Supporting education, independence, and life skills
  • Preparing meals and promoting healthy daily habits
  • Ensuring young people feel heard, respected, and valued
  • Attending appointments and community activities
  • Transporting young people using your own vehicle when required
  • Helping them transition positively into their next placement or future pathway
What You’ll Need
  • Experience supporting children or young people (voluntary or paid)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Emotional resilience, empathy, and patience
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
