What You'll Do
- Provide trauma-informed care to keep young people safe and supported
- Build positive, trusting relationships
- Encourage healthy routines and life skills
- Support education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointments
- Champion their voice — making sure they’re heard and valued
- Drive young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle
- Help them move forward with confidence and hope
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
- Flexibility for varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights)
- A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
- A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
