We’re on the lookout for passionate, caring, and resilient individuals to join our incredible team of Children’s Support Workers. As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in providing safe, nurturing, and therapeutic care during some of the most critical moments in a young person’s life. Our support packages are designed to meet individual needs offering wraparound, 24/7 support with staffing ratios ranging from 2:1 up to 6:1, depending on each young person’s circumstances. This is a rewarding and flexible role, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real difference.
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people in crisis.
- Support with daily routines from meal preparation to maintaining a tidy home.
- Encourage engagement in education, hobbies, and community activities that promote growth and confidence.
- Support medical appointments and community activities.
- Use your own vehicle to transport young people when needed.
- Help them move forward with confidence into their next chapter.
What We’re Looking For
- A flexible approach (waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required).
- A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance.
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS) and full Right to Work in the UK.
- Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
- A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
