  • Encourage healthy routines and develop essential life skills
  • Support education, prepare meals, and attend appointments

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights)
  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable — but not essential. We provide full training to help you succeed.

What You’ll Gain

  • Excellent Pay: £17.50 - £28.00 per hour (depending on shift type)
  • Outstanding Training: Online modules plus in-person courses including safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and PACE training
  • Clear Career Progression: Opportunities to grow into Senior Support Worker roles and beyond
  • Great Benefits: Flexible scheduling (agency role), casual dress code, company pension, referral bonuses

Why Join Paragon? Because here, your work truly matters. Every shift is an opportunity to help rewrite a young person’s story — to replace fear with safety, uncertainty with stability, and doubt with belief. If you bring the passion and commitment, we’ll provide the training, support, and opportunities to help you thrive while you help others do the same. Apply today and start a career where your impact lasts a lifetime.

Safeguarding Commitment: This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to working with vulnerable young people.
