At Paragon Social Care we support vulnerable and challenging children and young people who are looked after by the council, who find themselves between longer term placements. We step in during these critical times of transition and supply wrap around 24/7 packages of support until a more suitable longer-term placement is found. Our support packages start at a staffing ratio of 1:1 up to a maximum of 6:1 depending on the individual needs of each young person.

Your responsibilities:

  • Keep the young person safe
  • Engage with the young person on an emotional level
  • Ensure the young person sees to their personal care
  • Take the young person out on activities and fun days out
  • Take the young person to meetings, school, appointments etc
  • Cooking for the young person
