The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
At Paragon Social Care, we support vulnerable and challenging children and young people who are looked after by the council and are between longer term placements. We step in during these critical times of transition and supply wrap around, 24/7 packages of support. These support packages include a staffing ratio of 1:1 up to a maximum of 6:1 depending on the individual needs of each young person.
Our support packages can be based anywhere in the UK, staff must be flexible with travel for this reason. This job therefore suits those who don't have large commitments at home, you have the ability to fit this role around your current lifestyle with flexible working hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping the young person safe
- Engaging with the young person on an emotional level
- Ensuring the young person sees to their personal care
- Taking the young person out on activities and fun days out
- Taking the young person to meetings, school, appointments etc
- Cooking for the young person
- Keeping the home clean and tidy
- Attending staff meetings
We are looking for Crisis Support Workers who ideally have previous experience of working with challenging children and young people, but this is not essential!
