Position Location: Remote with learner observations in the Midlands

Salary: £32,000 (OTE of up to £6,000 per annum in KPI related bonus)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Residential Childcare and training professionals to deliver CYPF (Residential Childcare) apprenticeships. You will support a diverse cohort/caseload of learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing outstanding teaching and learning experience. With your energy and passion, you’ll help shape the minds of the future for the industry’s leading training provider in the Childcare sector.

This role is about being able to inspire people to succeed throughout their apprenticeship with quality training being at the heart of what you do.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners to achieve their work-based qualifications through differentiated, impactful, and innovative teaching and learning.
  • Ensuring learners are fully prepared with a completed portfolio in preparation for EPA Gateway.
  • Recruiting for learners and employed apprentice opportunities as appropriate to maintain minimum caseload levels and operation excellence targets.
  • Harnessing the use of technology, learning resources, virtual college, and the facilitation of workplace on the job training.
  • Adhering to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures.
  • Conducting consistent, planned, progressive visits and reviews with both the learner and employer in line with ESFA and Learner Journey requirements.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children, young people, and individuals you encounter.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE).
  • Experience of delivering CYPF apprenticeships.
  • Relevant occupational competency within the CYPF sector, at a minimum of supervisor level.
  • A strong track record of supporting learners through End Point Assessment.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners with varying learning requirements.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications.
