We are embarking on a journey of exceptional growth and looking for passionate, energised and experienced industry professionals from Health and Social Care/Adult Care settings to be part of our Trainee Tutor programme and to be one of our outstanding Personal Tutors.
Location: Remote based with travel for learner observations, 1:1s and team meetings. Vacancy Locations: Ipswich. Starting Salary: £26,500 delivering levels 2/3 - £28,500 delivering levels 4/5. Following the success of our first cohorts of Trainee Personal Tutors, we are looking for more Care industry experts to join us, so why not apply now to be part of the next group of trainees.
Key elements of this role involve:
- Participating in the Trainee Tutor programme and completing a professional qualification including AiET and TAQA
- Motivating and driving learners to achieve their work‑based qualifications through outstanding teaching and learning
- Maintaining a growing caseload of learners
- Encouraging further progression for our learners onto higher level qualifications
- Completing impactful and consistent progressive visits and reviews with learners and employers
- Ensuring learners are fully ready with a completed portfolio
- Supporting learners to feel confident at the EPA Gateway
- Continuously developing own capability and sharing best practice with peers
- Adhering to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT
- Minimum of Level 3 in vocational area for role and relevant occupational experience
- Full UK Driving Licence, access to a car and ability to travel and conduct learner observations
- Ideally Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Experience of working within the industry e.g. Health and Social Care at a senior or managerial level
- Experience of delivering or engaging in training activity or knowledge sharing with colleagues
- Experience of achieving targets and deadlines set without close supervision
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding
- Strong personal drive and the ability to manage own time and meet challenges positively
- Flexible and adaptable to change with the ability to learn new skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to plan own workload and diary effectively
