Paragon Skills is expanding its Personal Tutors (PTs) team to support learners on Health and Social Care Levels 2 and 3 qualifications through the Elevate programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage, motivate and inspire learners to achieve their work‑based qualifications.
- Deliver innovative and impactful teaching tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Manage a diverse caseload of learners across HSC Levels 2‑3, providing regular visits, observations and progress reviews.
- Provide valuable feedback to stretch learners, enhance professional development and support them in achieving their full potential.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with employer partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Champion the use of Elevate Workshops to maximise learner success.
- Monitor and track learner progress using the Learning Management System (BUD).
- Collaborate with Learning Support for learners requiring Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support.
- Provide detailed feedback following review meetings and observations, ensuring clear and actionable insights.
- Adhere to GDPR regulations and maintain data security protocols.
What the Role Does Not Involve
- Delivering Functional Skills – handled by the Functional Skills and Additional Learning Support Team.
- Generating new learners – the BDM team brings in new learners.
- Enrolling learners onto their qualifications – handled by the enrollment team.
- Delivering workshops – Workshop Tutors run Elevate programme content.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
- A teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, etc.).
- Level 3 or 5 qualification within the Health & Social Care sector.
- Proven experience delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Experience managing a diverse caseload of learners.
- Solid understanding of End‑Point Assessment (EPA).
- Access to a car and ability to travel for in‑person learner observations, 1:1s and team meetings.
