We’re looking for passionate and experienced Residential Childcare professionals to join our operational team, delivering Level 4 and 5 CYPF (Residential Childcare) apprenticeships.
Position: Residential Childcare Trainer/Assessor
Location: Remote, with learner observations in Leeds/Manchester/Peterborough or Liverpool
Salary: ÂŁ32,000
Hours: 36.5 per week, Monday to Friday
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Residential Childcare and training professionals to deliver CYPF (Residential Childcare) apprenticeships. You will support a diverse cohort/caseload of learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing outstanding teaching and learning experience. With your energy and passion, you’ll help shape the minds of the future for the industry’s leading training provider in the sector. This role is about being able to inspire people to succeed throughout their apprenticeship with quality training being at the heart of what you do.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Support learners through their apprenticeship journey to successful EPA
- Use innovative methods and technology to enhance learning
- Conduct regular reviews and visits in line with ESFA and learner journey requirements
- Promote safeguarding and wellbeing of learners
Requirements:
- Level 3 Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1)
- Teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE) – desirable
- Experience delivering CYPF apprenticeships
- Occupational competency at supervisor level or above
- Proven success supporting learners through End Point Assessment
- Strong caseload management and learner support skills
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) or equivalent Functional Skills
