Overview

We are looking for a caring, reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team in Sutton, where you\’ll support people with learning disabilities to live happy, independent lives.

You’ll be based in a welcoming, supportive home in Sutton, South West London, working alongside a close-knit team and supporting eight individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Accompanying them to appointments, activities, and community events
  • Helping them feel safe, confident, and empowered
  • Providing emotional support and building strong, respectful relationships
  • Being a consistent part of their daily routine

Hours and Shift Pattern

This is a full-time position with a rotating shift pattern, which includes:

  • Day shifts
  • Sleep-in shifts
  • Waking night shifts
  • Some weekends
  • Flexibility is key—we’re looking for someone reliable and adaptable.

Training

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry. It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact. This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study. This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker – Level 2 Apprenticeship

Prospects: Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
