Job Description
Work with a family-run business with experienced and compassionate staff who are committed to quality care and support.
Your role will include:
- You will be responsible to the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator and through her/him to the Home Care Manager.
- To be reliable, punctual, and conscientious in visiting Service Users in their own homes and providing a range of services, which will require you to work flexibly and unsocial hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- To abide by and uphold the Company’s ethics regarding equal opportunities and Service User choice.
- Establish a supportive relationship with the Service User and their carers.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Attend Staff Meetings.
- Report to your line Manager any concerns related to Service Users, Health & Safety.
- Assist Senior Carer/Care Coordinators and the Home Care Manager in completing and updating Care Plans.
- Abide by legislative duties regarding Quality and Safeguarding.
- Bring to the attention of your line manager any concerns relating to Service Users, yourself, or other staff members.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures, especially regarding Health & Safety, and adhere to the no lifting policy.
- Undertake training to meet legislative requirements.
- Complete the Company’s administration procedures and report writing accurately and promptly.
- Follow the Company’s dress code, including wearing the uniform and identification badge.
- Cover for colleagues during holidays or sick leave.
- Work responsibly in isolated situations with Service Users and report health, safety hazards, or risks to your line manager.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as designated by the Company.

Training
