Responsibilities:
- Deliver and maintain a high standard of personal care to residents according to their needs and desired outcomes.
- Carry out procedures as instructed by the Registered Nurse, Senior Carer, or Head of Care within your scope of competence.
- Document care provided, in accordance with procedures.
- Report to the Person in Charge any changes in residents’ condition or circumstances that could impact care.
- Report any complaints, incidents, or accidents immediately to the Person in Charge.
- Be accountable for the quality of your work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills, attending training and supervision as required.
- Promote mental and physical activity of residents through conversation, outings, and engaging in activities such as reading, hobbies, and social events.
- Ensure all resident areas are hygienic, safe, and comfortable at all times.
- Store equipment and stocks safely and efficiently, using resources economically.
- Assist in ensuring the security of residents and premises by following security procedures and challenging strangers.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information obtained during employment.

Training:
