We have an exciting opportunity for a part time dental professional to join us to support learners in Leeds. Look no further than this role if you\’re looking to develop your skills further and train the dental experts of tomorrow with the UK\’s leading dental training provider.
As a Dental Workplace Assessor
. To book and carry out workplace assessments of Diploma in Dental Nursing learners within the required time period
. Communicate effectively with practice managers and learners
. Ensure the correct completion and submission of all assessment paperwork
. Provide constructive feedback to the learner and practice manager in a sensitive manner
. Prepare and support a small caseload of learners for EPA
. Conduct health & safety and equal opportunities vetting and monitoring of practice and provide guidance where necessary
. Plan and prepare for each workplace assessment
. Remain current in your skills and knowledge of the dental sector and legislative requirements and maintain your GDC registration
Requirements
What we need from you…
. Level 3 Training or Assessing Qualification – or willingness to acquire
. Qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience
. Enhanced DBS Check
. Based in Leeds to conduct workplace assessments
. Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines
. IT literate – with effective use of MS Office
. Experience of assessing the Dental Diploma/Advance Apprenticeship (desirable)
. Experience of working within work-based learning programmes (desirable)

.20 days annual leave (increasing with length of service plus bank holidays)
. 3 days off for Christmas closure
