Overview

Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular online and workplace assessments for apprenticeship or standalone diploma learners.
  • Ensure the correct completion of all assessment paperwork.
  • Deliver webinars to DPM apprentices covering dental and ILM standards.
  • Provide quality feedback to learners in a timely manner.
  • Manage your own diary to ensure maximum assessment opportunity.
  • Carry out learner progress reviews with learners and their employers every 8–10 weeks.
  • Support and prepare learners for their dental tests.
  • Promote and comply with all current and future equal opportunities, health and safety and safeguarding legislative requirements.

Qualifications

  • Dental Practice Management qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience as a dental practice manager.
  • Level 5 management qualification.
  • Minimum Level 3 assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1, D32/D33).
  • Active GDC registration.
  • Level 3 training qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent is advantageous).

Ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in assessing dental practice management apprenticeships.
  • Experience working as a dental practice manager.
  • Experience teaching/delivering national diploma or advanced apprenticeships.
  • Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in person and remotely with learners, clients and employers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider remote‑based team.
  • IT‑literacy – effective use of MS Office.
  • Flexible and willing to work remotely and travel as required.
