Job Description

You will be working with children aged 2-5 years old, to provide the highest level of care and education for children attending term‑time only Pre‑School.

Day‑Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of care and education within the pre‑school, ensuring a safe, stimulating and well‑resourced environment for all children.
  • Observe, support and extend children’s learning and development through meaningful play and planned activities.
  • Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Accurately complete observations, assessments and records to support children’s progress and development.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with parents, carers and family members to support each child’s individual needs.

Training

Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact. This involves regular catch‑ups, check‑in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study. This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18‑month apprenticeship you will have gained Early Years Educator – Level 3.
