Location: B.T.C, Station Approach, Ashley Rd, Bournemouth, BH1 4NB
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + KPI-based bonus
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – Permanent
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive workshops covering light and heavy vehicle topics.
- Use interactive teaching methods including practical demonstrations, case studies, and presentations.
- Support apprentices with personalised guidance and feedback.
- Design and administer assessments to track learner progress.
- Collaborate on curriculum development and create innovative learning resources.
- Deliver MOT and Air‑Con qualifications.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Support End Point Assessments as a technician.
What We Need From You:
- MOT licence
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area (Heavy & Light Vehicles)
- Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT
- Industry experience in automotive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of apprenticeship frameworks, EPA and regulatory bodies (desirable)
- AET, CET, PTTLS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
- TAQA, CAVA, A1 or equivalent assessor qualification (desirable)
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
