We are looking for a dedicated, learner‑focused professional to join us as an Exam Invigilator. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our learners have a smooth, fair, and supportive assessment experience. You'll uphold awarding‑body regulations, maintain accurate records, and provide calm, structured guidance to learners as they complete their exams and assessments. Responsibilities

  • Maintain direct control and oversight of all learners during exams
  • Carry out initial and diagnostic assessments with learners
  • Set up, invigilate, and print results for online mock assessments
  • Support the preparation and administration of Health & Social Care, Early Years, and Residential Childcare assessments
  • Keep precise seating plans, supervision reports, and attendance registers
  • Ensure all documentation is completed and submitted promptly
  • Record daily attendance and achievements, reporting any absences
  • Adhere to GDPR and internal data‑security policies
  • Follow all invigilation regulations set by awarding organisations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes
  • Carry out additional duties as required by the Operations Manager
  • Promote and protect the welfare of children and young people

Qualifications

  • GCSE English & Maths (A‑C) or equivalent
  • Level 2 ICT qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong administration, organisation, and relationship‑management skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in the adult care or childcare sector (desirable)
  • Understanding of the apprenticeship framework (desirable)
